Specialized seminar «Improvement of activity of higher education institutions in the field of scientific researches and development of personnel potential of national economy and science»

24.02.2012 During the period from February 16 to February 18, 2012 the representatives of the Russian customs academy took part in a specialized seminar «Improvement of activity of higher education institutions in the field of scientific researches and development of personnel potential of national economy and science». The action has been organized according to the schedule of professional development of the heads and experts on the basis of Academy of additional professional education «Management training center» of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation (St. Petersburg, Pushkin).

The specialists of Department of the priority directions of a science and technologies, Department of the state scientific and technical policy and innovations of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, vice rectors responsible for scientific work and the heads of research divisions of the Russian higher education institutions took part in a seminar.

The seminar program included consideration of such questions as the tasks of higher education institutions of increase of efficiency of realization of the state scientific and technical policy and strengthening of an innovative orientation of scientific development, the problems of the organization of carrying out by the higher education institutions of research and development within the state tasks and participation of higher education institutions in the organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation competitions on research and development performance, a role of higher education institutions in development of personnel potential of national economy and science.

As the senior scientific associate of the Research center of the Russian customs academy DPhil Sergey Moser noted, the actions of such level are of special interest, as they allow to the heads of higher education institutions and also to research associates «to synchronize the watches» of a scientific work of the higher school according to the actual requirements and regulations of the Government of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. In this context the participation of the qualified experts of the Ministry of Education and Science in the work of seminar is a necessary condition and an important element of process of consultation and professional development of representatives of higher education institutions of the country.

In her turn, the senior research associate of Department of planning, coordination and conducting of scientific work of the Russian customs academy, DPhil Inessa Glazunova emphasized the importance of direct interaction and an exchange of experience with colleagues from other Russian higher education institutions and universities within the frames of the seminar. The most interesting performance she noted the report of director the Department of state scientific and technical policy and innovations Mr. Alexander Naumov.

According to representatives of the Russian customs academy, the held seminar deserves a positive assessment, and its results will be used in the course of the organization of scientific work of the Academy which is carrying out preparation and training of professional staff for customs service of Russia and the foreign states.
